This one is a bit off the beaten path, but it continues to fascinate me and forces me to think about how people perceive things (which most certainly *is* on the path.)

  1. I love this demonstration. A great **revelation** about how different alike people may be. Reminds me of the new classroom approach of multiple intelligences, in which a teacher learns to vary the teaching method in order to improve comprehension and retention across a wide swath of learning styles. Now, do I need my eyes checked or does the figure change direction on her own?

    • Helene,

The figure never “changes” direction. It’s your perception that changes. I’m able to make the figure change by concentrating on the shadow part of the animation. It’s really very cool.
