Monday Music Musings – Imelda May and “Inside Out”

Welcome to another journey into somewhat obscure, but terrific music performances. There won’t be any data viz stuff here, just some good music.

I’m not yet finished with Jeff Beck’s Rock and Roll Party Honoring Les Paul, as I want to talk more about Imelda May.

In my first Monday Music Musing I talked about her channeling Mary Ford.

I of course had to learn more about May. As I started going down the ever-so-fun rabbit hole ten years ago, I saw she was powerhouse rockabilly singer, usually performing with her husband Darrel Higham (they have since split up).

I discovered a lot of wonderful songs, but my favorite was “Inside Out.”
